Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program

Giving Day is April 17, 2024. Celebrate the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program during Volunteer Appreciation Month by making a tax-deductible donation -- because these 1,896 minutes are an opportunity to recognize our volunteers and their contributions to those battling breast cancer. 

Our licensed social workers and trained volunteers work tirelessly to support the breast cancer community. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we provide a toll-free hotline from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., individual and group counseling (in English and Spanish), patient navigation at local hospitals, and educational events for the breast cancer community. All of our services are completely free and confidential.

We are proud to announce a matching gift to support the Breast Cancer Program on Giving Day. This anonymous donor will match the first $1,000 in donations, dollar for dollar. Every donation makes a meaningful impact on our program. Please give today! 

Your tax-deductible gift will support our mission and go towards the following:

• $50 for a follow up phone call from a social worker to a hotline caller
• $100 for facilitating a breast cancer support group session 
• $200 for an individual counseling session with a licensed social worker
