Giving Day is April 9, 2025. Celebrate the Adelphi Breast Cancer Program during Volunteer Appreciation Month by making a donation -- because these 1,896 minutes are an opportunity to recognize our volunteers and their contributions to those battling breast cancer.
We are proud to announce a matching gift to support the Breast Cancer Program. Advisory Board Chair, Joan Beder, and breast cancer survivor of 35 years, will be matching $1,000 in donations, dollar for dollar, to Adelphi's NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program. With her support, your Giving Day contribution will provide even more vital resources to women and men fighting breast cancer.

Our licensed social workers and trained volunteers work tirelessly to support the breast cancer community. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we provide a hotline and texting service 365 days a year, individual and group counseling (in English and Spanish), patient navigation at local hospitals, community outreach, and educational events for the breast cancer community. All of our services are completely free and confidential.
